The Prophet Daniel was born in the royal family in Judea about 620 years before the time of Christ. He was only a young man when he was taken to Babylon as a captive. Daniel chose to obey God, and God used him greatly.

The book of Daniel contains the record of six great events in the city of Babylon, and it also tells us about the revelations concerning future events which God gave to Daniel, His faithful servant. There are many important lessons for us to learn today from this portion of God’s Word.
