El Otro Consolador

There are two extreme attitudes today regarding the subject of the Holy Spirit.  One of those disregards Him almost entirely, substituting a religious ritual or an ecclesiastical machine that functions regardless of any spiritual power.  The other attitude places an unwarranted stress on the operation of the Holy Spirit at the expense of the written Word of God and true Christian sobriety.  One extreme expressed itself in frigid formalism, the other in fervent fanaticism.

In this course, the Bible is studied to present the truth concerning the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit, the Other Comforter whom the Father has sent to dwell with us and to be in us (John 14:16).

¿Te interesa la Persona del Espíritu Santo? Este curso ayudará al estudiante entender la persona y la obra del Espíritu Santo de Dios en el mundo, la Iglesia y cada creyente. Hoy hay dos actitudes extremas con respecto al tema del Espíritu Santo. Una de éstas le desprecia casi del todo, sustituyendo un rito religioso o una máquina eclesiástica que funciona a pesar de cualquier poder espiritual. La otra actitud insiste demasiado sobre la operación del Espíritu Santo a costa de la Palabra de Dios escrita y de la verdadera sobriedad cristiana. Un extremo se expresa en formalismo frígido, el otro en fanatismo ferviente. En este curso, estudiamos la Biblia para presentar la verdad con respecto a la persona y a la obra del Espíritu Santo, el Otro Consolador quien ha enviado el Padre para morar entre nosotros y estar dentro de nosotros (Juan 14:16).
