After Seventy years of captivity God graciously allowed His people Israel to return from Babylon to their homeland.

Ezra was a teacher who helped them understand God’s law.

Nehemiah was the governor whom the king appointed over the people.

Esther became the Queen of Persia and helped those who did not return.
